Siren Craft Brew

About

Siren were founded in 2013 by Darron Anley  with a goal of brewing exciting full flavoured beer. They have taken off  massively and now sell hundreds of different beers a year, and are stocked in high street supermarkets. They recently took over the George & Dragon pub in Swallowfield, and it’s a poorly kept secret that they are aiming to open a bar in Reading soon.

One of the standout features of Siren Craft Brew is their Barrel Aging program. They age their beers in various types of barrels, including wine, bourbon, and whisky casks, to add complex flavors and aromas. This has resulted in a range of barrel-aged beers that have gained recognition and awards.

Beer styles

Siren  have 4 flagship beers;

Yu Lu – a 3.8% Session Pale Ale
Lumina – a 4.2% Session IPA
Soundwavve – a 5.6% IPA
Broken Dream – a 6.5% Breakfast Stout

In addition to the flagship beers, Siren produce many different styles – lagers, sours, the annual Maiden barley wine, vegan beers, porters, and whatever takes their fancy.
